Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

Under general direction, performs manual and clerical duties related to the timely shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, show initiative, and excel in a team environment.

  • Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition. Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures. Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas. Completes written and computerized documentation. Resolves inventory variances, tracking errors, and a wide variety of other issues.

  • Ensures all customer orders are treated with the highest priority. The DC’s goal is to ship orders the same day if entered & available before noon. Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures including handling exceptions.

  • Help in the coordination of staff to make certain orders are fulfilled timely. Make certain orders are accurate (including material, quantity, picking, staging, loading, and completion). May provide work leadership to lower level employees.

  • Assist and lead efforts to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized daily. Leads in the organization of materials and maintains inventory accuracy. Assists in locating product and, or moving material into proper bin locations.

  • Maintains serial number table accuracy in coordination with the other personnel.

Maintains a positive attitude with the ability to interact in an effective and professional manner with all stakeholders. Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures. Shows flexibility in work schedule and hours.

  • Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.

  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

  • Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.

  • Effective verbal communication skills.

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 3 years related Lennox or DC preferred.

  • Requires forklift certification.

  • SAP knowledge/experience highly preferred.
