Summary:Under general supervision, performs advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas. Operates under a written nurse protocol agreement with their delegating physician, conducts complete physicals, provides treatment, and counsels clients. May prescribe medication in some cases. Essential functions include but are not limited to:Examines clients to obtain information about their physical condition.Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal. Makes tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of clients. Obtains, compiles and records client medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination. Serves as a mentor and/or preceptor for other APRNS. Assists with the development, implementation, and/or evaluation of nursing or program policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:Doctorate or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Two years of PH experience AND Georgia license as a Registered.Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as a APRN AND current certification in specialty area AND CPR certification.//
Preferred Job-Related Skills:Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required. Certification or Liletta, ParaGard, or Nexplanon preferred. Certification on colposcopy preferred.
Salary Information: $61,795 annual / Total compensation package, including leave value $110,946 / Pay Grade N**
