The Case Manager will provide employment skills training, planning, organization, implementation and evaluation to the clients that Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers (GoodwillSR) serves, many of whom face multiple physical, cognitive, situational

and/or emotional barriers to employment. He or she will be responsible for developing, in partnership with the client, their individualized career plan that will include measurable outcomes to guide the client(s) toward their personal goals and career aspirations.

He or she will direct the daily operations and activities necessary to implement and facilitate each training program, provide front-line services to individuals with disabilities which include counseling, work-site supervision, travel within the local community

to provide job coaching, and direct classroom instruction. Services are to be delivered individually and/or in a group setting. The Case Manager will also ensure the programmatic and curricular needs match the desired outcome for each client and he or she

will develop relationships with representatives of other agencies to support clients in attaining employment and other services such as housing, additional mental health care, psychiatric medication, medical resources, financial assistance, legal advocacy,


This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to change quickly. The successful Case Manager is an individual who is able to communicate with a diverse audience and provide high-quality training, documentation practices, and guidance to all GoodwillSR


Essential Functions

  • Conduct and facilitate training classes.

  • Identify and interpret program requirements, policies, regulations, and other guidelines. Interact with leadership, other team members and the community to establish partnerships and working relationships.

  • Develop, adjust and teach training curriculums and presentations in order to teach at any functioning level.

  • Summarize data and conclusions into reports: Individual Service Plans, Progress Reports and Discharge Summaries.

  • Act as the liaison with area community partners and employers to promote ongoing utilization of training programs and to establish partnerships for placement.

  • Monitor, manage, report goals, accomplishments and outcomes. Perform supervisory duties as directed.

  • Job coach, schedule daily activities and case note

  • Assess the needs, progress and success of clients

  • Maintain paperwork for billing.

  • Work with other center liaisons and staff to ensure communication and compliance


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Counseling, Education or related field (required).

  • Master’s Degree in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or an Education field (preferred).

  • Previous experience developing or assisting with the development of training curriculum (preferred).

  • Previous experience in providing case management and/or delivering social services to a diverse population.
